Nigerian Afrobeats singer Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has revealed that the break in his music activities this year was caused by the death of his mother, rather than preparations for a new album.

The fan, identified as @VicroyDominion1, had written: “I guess album really made you busy you had to pause for a while.”
Responding to the comment, Kizz Daniel explained that his absence was linked to a personal loss that occurred earlier in the year.
“I paused for my Mom not an album … Lost her this year, but I gotta keep moving for the rest of the family … sorry I came late this year,” the singer wrote.

Instead, the singer disclosed that he had been dealing with the loss of his mother while trying to continue with his career and family responsibilities.
