Trump Sparks Online Reactions After Complimenting Nicki Minaj’s Backside at Michigan Rally
United States President Donald Trump has sparked reactions on social media after making a remark about rapper Nicki Minaj’s backside during a rally in Port Huron, Michigan.

Trump made the comment on Sunday, October 25, while addressing supporters at McMorran Place Arena, where Minaj accompanied him after travelling to the city aboard Air Force One.

“By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before — Nicki Minaj. That’s hard to miss,” Trump said, drawing cheers from the crowd.

He subsequently asked the rapper to stand up as the audience reacted to his remark. Trump also expressed hope that she would not take offence at his comment.

“I hope Nicki wasn’t insulted, but we love Nicki. She’s been with us for a long time,” the president added.

The remark came as Trump was discussing comments he had previously made about the physique of Republican Senator Jon Husted of Ohio, a former college football player.

Earlier in October, Trump recounted how he had examined Husted’s physical features after learning about his athletic background.

“I don’t do this with men very often. I started examining his body, because I didn’t know he was a great athlete. And I looked and I watched up and down. I looked at his ass and I looked at the whole — and then I looked at his hands. Look at his hands. He’s got these, like, claws,” Trump said.

He also praised Husted’s athletic ability, telling the senator: “You are a great athlete. Congratulations.”

Trump’s latest comment about Minaj has attracted attention online, with his description of the rapper’s appearance becoming a talking point following the Michigan rally.

The episode also highlights the president’s tendency to make informal and sometimes provocative personal remarks during public appearances, often generating discussion beyond the political issues addressed at his rallies.
