OmoBarca Felicitates Muslim Faithfuls on Sallah, Celebrates Nigerian Children on Children’s Day

A chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and philanthropist, Francis Barthlomew Chima (OmoBarca), has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithfuls in Ajeromi Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Lagos State, and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir celebration, while also celebrating Nigerian children on this year’s Children’s Day.

In a goodwill message released on Wednesday, the politician popularly known as OmoBarca urged Muslims to use the Sallah period to promote peace, unity, love, and sacrifice in line with the teachings and values of Islam.

He described Eid-el-Kabir as a sacred season that reminds Nigerians of the importance of obedience to God, compassion for humanity, and support for the less privileged in society.

“I heartily congratulate all Muslim faithfuls in Ajeromi Ifelodun and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration. May Allah accept our prayers and sacrifices and continue to bless our homes and our nation with peace, progress, and prosperity,” he said.

OmoBarca also called on Nigerians to continue praying for the unity and stability of the country, especially at a time when many citizens are facing economic and social challenges.

The philanthropist, known for his humanitarian activities and support for vulnerable people in society, urged political leaders and citizens alike to embrace tolerance and peaceful coexistence irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

Speaking on Children’s Day, OmoBarca paid glowing tribute to Nigerian children, describing them as the future and hope of the nation.

He stressed the need for government at all levels, parents, and stakeholders to prioritise the welfare, education, healthcare, and protection of children in order to secure a better future for Nigeria.

“Our children deserve quality education, proper care, security, and opportunities to achieve their dreams. As leaders and parents, we must continue to invest in their future because they are the leaders of tomorrow,” he stated.

He further encouraged children across the country to remain focused, disciplined, hardworking, and committed to their studies despite prevailing challenges.

OmoBarca reaffirmed his commitment to youth and community development, promising to continue supporting initiatives that uplift children, empower youths, and improve the welfare of residents in Ajeromi Ifelodun Federal Constituency.

Over the years, the politician has gained recognition for numerous charitable gestures, including payment of school fees for indigent students, support for the sick and needy, housing assistance for vulnerable families, and sponsorship of religious pilgrimages for both Christians and Muslims.

He concluded his message by wishing Muslim faithfuls a peaceful and joyful Eid celebration and Nigerian children a memorable and fulfilling Children’s Day celebration.

“Barka da Sallah to all Muslim faithfuls and Happy Children’s Day to all our wonderful children across Nigeria,” he said.
