The National Democratic Congress (NDC) recorded a notable presence today as His Excellency, Mr Peter Obi, NDC Presidential Candidate, joined other prominent political figures, including Hon. Thomas Victor Onwubiko (TVO), NDC Candidate for Lagos State House of Assembly, Amuwo-Odofin Constituency II, and Funsho Doherty, NDC Lagos governorship candidate at the Service of Songs of the late Chief Okey Ezeibe.
The solemn gathering took place at the Trade Fair Complex, Lagos State, in honour of the departed Chief Okey Ezeibe, who served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Balogun Business Association.
The presence of these distinguished political leaders at the ceremony reflected a moment of solidarity, respect and shared humanity as family members, associates, business leaders, friends and well-wishers gathered to pay their final respects to a man whose leadership position within the business community made him a notable figure.
For the NDC candidates, the occasion provided an opportunity to identify with the bereaved family, the Balogun Business Association and the wider business community in honouring the memory of their departed leader.
As the community mourns this painful loss, prayers and heartfelt condolences remain with the family, friends, associates and members of the Balogun Business Association.
May the soul of Chief Okey Ezeibe rest in perfect peace, and may God grant his family and loved ones the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
