‘Anyone I Curse Becomes Useless for Life’ – Pastor David Ibiyeomie Warns Critics
The founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has warned critics and individuals who provoke him, claiming that anyone he curses becomes useless for the rest of their lives.

The Port Harcourt-based cleric made the declaration while speaking about his spiritual authority and ability to pray against people who challenge or trouble him.

In remarks that have attracted attention on social media, Ibiyeomie challenged those questioning his claims to investigate the fate of individuals he had previously cursed, insisting that none had continued to enjoy their lives.

“Anyone who wants to trouble me, when I curse you, you are finish. Check all the social media, all the people I have cursed whether anyone is existing,” he said.

The pastor further claimed that his prayers could affect individuals regardless of their social standing, influence or political positions.

“I know what to pray that the person will be useless for life, even those that are in political powers, when I pray against them, that’s the end,” he stated.

His comments have generated discussions about the exercise of spiritual authority, the relationship between religious leaders and their critics, and the language used by prominent clerics when responding to criticism.

Although Ibiyeomie challenged his critics to examine the fate of those he claimed to have cursed, he did not identify the individuals or provide specific examples to substantiate his assertion.

VeryDarkMan Challenges Pastor

Reacting to the cleric’s declaration, social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, challenged Ibiyeomie to name the individuals he claimed to have cursed.

In a video shared on social media, the activist questioned the pastor’s assertion and dared him to direct the same curse at him.

“All the social media people that you have cursed, call their names, I dare you. You are a liar,” VeryDarkMan said.

The activist also criticised what he described as the use of fear and claims of supernatural authority by some religious leaders to influence their followers.

He questioned the practice of threatening church members with misfortune when they fail to pay tithes and offerings, arguing that such conduct was inconsistent with biblical teachings.

“The Bible says bless those who persecute you, bless them and do not curse. You people are not God,” he stated.

VeryDarkMan’s response has added another dimension to the public discussion surrounding Ibiyeomie’s remarks, with the exchange drawing attention to questions about religious influence, accountability and the limits of spiritual authority.

Ibiyeomie is the founder and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries, a Christian ministry headquartered in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
