The United States has indicated that it is close to achieving full aerial dominance over Iran as joint military operations with Israel enter their fifth day, signaling a further escalation in the ongoing conflict between the two sides.
Officials in Washington say the operation is aimed at dismantling key elements of Iran’s military capabilities, including missile installations and defence infrastructure, while establishing air superiority that would allow allied forces to operate without resistance.
Speaking on Wednesday, March 4, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said American forces were approaching the point of “complete and total dominance” over Iranian airspace.
According to Leavitt, the United States expects to establish comprehensive control of the skies over Iran within hours, a development that could significantly shape the trajectory of the ongoing military campaign.
“We expect to have complete and total dominance over Iranian airspace in the coming hours,” she told reporters during a briefing, emphasizing the rapid pace of the operation.
